Chicco Car Seat Adaptor

for Elite/Classic/Summit Double Strollers

The Chicco Car Seat Adaptor for Double Strollers is designed to be used with your Baby Jogger City Mini, City Micro, City Series, City Classic, City Elite, Summit 360, or Summit XC double stroller and your Chicco car seat. This car seat adaptor is only compatible with this car seat and these stroller models.

1Un-Velcro seat from footplate area so that silver metal frame bars are visible.

2 Unsnap all snaps on seat below folding mechanism of double stroller.

3Loosen adjustment knobs on double car seat adaptor.

4Slide adaptor unit onto right side of the stroller frame.

5Apply center clamp over center metal frame bar.

6Tighten both adjustment knobs until center clamp is secure onto stroller frame.

7On the right side of the stroller frame, attach single clamp between the lowest rivet and the lowest snap on the

stroller frame.

8 Tighten adjustment knob until clamp is	7	9
secure onto stroller frame.

9Pull seat fabric down to re-attach to stroller frame using Velcro on and underneath footplate. To do this, thread the Velcro strap between the frame and the adaptor bar. Re-attach snap on right side of stroller frame above single clamp.

10Open the compression locks on the Car Seat Adaptor Brackets by flipping the red latches up.

11Insert U-Shaped Support Bar (labeled HEAD) into the front holes on the Adaptor Brackets.

12Insert U-Shaped Support Bar (labeled FOOT) into HEAD Support Bar.

13Screw Bar Fasteners into holes on the top of the U-Shaped Supports.

14Place your car seat onto the U-Shaped Support Bars. Adjust the U-Shaped Support Bars to proper length by sliding the U-Shaped Bar in and out, using the car seat to ensure proper distance. The Adaptor Brackets should line up with the handle hinge of the car seat.

15Close compression locks by flipping the red latches down.

16Secure your car seat onto the stroller using the safety belt on the car Seat Adaptor Brackets.

How to use your car seat adaptor safely

NOTE: If only the car seat is in use without second child, the car seat adaptor must be locked in the center of the stroller.

1To use with 1 child in left stroller seat and 1 child in the car seat, make sure adaptor brackets are locked into place on right side. Press red compression lock down to secure adaptor into place.

2To use with 1 child in car seat, release red compression lock. Slide adaptor bar to the center. Press red compression lock to secure adaptor into place.

NOTE: It is possible that the length of some car seats won’t allow the double car seat adaptor to slide to the center of the frame.

If this occurs, always balance the stroller weight by adding weight to the opposite seat.

The sample product shown on this manual may differ slightly from your production quality Car Seat Adaptor.

However, this will not affect the assembly or functionality of your Baby Jogger product.
