Sound Mode

DSP (Digital Signal Processor)/EQ

DSP (Digital Signal Processor) : DSP modes have been designed to simulate different acoustic environments.

EQ : You can select ROCK, POP, or CLASSIC etc. to optimize the sound for the genre of music you are playing.

Press the DSP/EQ button.

NOTE

`` When CD Recording, the DSP/EQ function can't work and the DSP/EQ automatically covery to "PASS" mode.

`` This function is not available during playback of a DVD disc.

`` If the Speaker Stack function is set to On, you can't select MUSIC, CINEMA and MATRIX. (MX-C870D only)

GIGA SOUND

The product is equipped with the GIGA SOUND function.The GIGA SOUND function amplifies bass and improves high key or bass twice as much for you to appreciate powerful real sound.

1.Press the GIGA SOUND button on the main unit or press the GIGA button on the remote control.

Result: “GIGA SOUND” is displayed.

2.To cancel this function, press this button again, “PASS” is displayed for a few seconds.

NOTE

`` When CD Recording, the GIGA SOUND function can't work and the GIGA SOUND automatically covery to "PASS" mode.

`` If you use the Microphone, GIGA SOUND will automatically turn off. Even if you remove the Microphone, it will not turn on.

`` This function is not available during playback of a DVD AC-3 (5.1 CH) disc.
