Example Enabling Continuous Scans
,1,7&21721 Enables continuous scanning
6&$1# Sets channel list
,1,7 Starts scanning cycle
INITiate:CONTinuous?
INITiate:CONTinuous? queries the scanning state. With continuous
scanning enabled, the command returns 1. With continuous scanning
disabled, the command returns 0.
Example Query Continuous Scanning State

INITiate[:IMMediate]
INITiate[:IMMediate] starts the scanning cycle and closes the first channel
in the channel list. Successive triggers from the source specified by the
TRIGger:SOURce command advance the scan through the channel list.
Comments Starting the Scanning Cycle: The INITiate[:IMMediate] command
starts scanning by closing the first channel in the channel list. A tr igger
advances the scan through the channel list. An invalid channel li st
generates an error (see [ROUTe:]SCAN command).
