Places you in INSERT mode and opens up a blank line at the flashing cursor for inserting a block of text. While in INSERT mode, use only BACKSPACE to correct mistakes, since any other command or cursor movement (or ESC) will terminate INSERT mode and close up the paragraph.

ThinkTank’s paragraph editor also features a “modeless” insert. To insert short passages of text, simply move the flashing cursor to the insertion point and start typing.
