1.6 Installing Your Modem Driver
Insert the CD into your computer’s CD Rom drive. If You want install immediately the driver, click setup (CDRom:\Driver\PCI\OS\setup.exe) to continue.
Simply follow the instructions below which outline what you needto do.
Windows XP Service Pack 2
Insert the CD into your computer’s CD Rom drive. If You want install immediately the driver, click setup (CDRom:\Driver\PCI\WinXP\setup.exe) to continue. Installation will start automatically. Upon complete of installation, select on Yes, I want to restart my computer now and click on the green tick.
Windows XP Service Pack 1
If your modem is connected as illustrated in section 1.5 , you will be prompted for the modem driver. Place the Installation CD into your CDRom Drive.
Click Install from a list or specific location and click Next. Click Include this
location in the search. Click Browse. Navigate to the 'CDRom\Driver\PCI\WinXP' folder on the Installation CD and click OK. Click Next to proceed. Click Finish to complete the software installation.
Windows 2000
If your modem is connected as illustrated in section 1.5 you will be prompted for the modem driver. Place the Installation CD into your CDRom Drive and click Next. Click Search for a suitable driver for my device. (recommended) and click Next. Click Specify a location and click Next. Click Browse. Navigate to the 'CDRom\Driver\PCI\Win2000' folder on your Installation CD. Click OK. (The screen shot uses the CDRom drive letter D as an example. You should see the letter of your CDRom drive.)
