ADJUST Regulator Valve
for Flame Height
Model #SP1 Jet Cooker - BURNER FLAME CHECK
When lighting for the first time, you will smell paint burning at the top of the cooker for a few minutes...
This is normal.
The regulator valve controls flame intensity. Practicing adjusting
flame height up and down. You will notice that this cooker
emits a loud JET sound, hence the name Jet Cooker.
HOW TO REIGNITE Model #SP1 Jet Cooker
If burner flame does NOT ignite immediately, or is accidentally
extinguished, turn LP Gas Cylinder Valve clockwise to OFF.
Then turn regulator valve clockwise to OFF position.
Wait 5 minutes for gas to evacuate before re-lighting, then repeat
steps 1-7 to re-light. Always use caution when re-lighting as cooker frame
and cooking vessel will be hot.
If the cooker does not light within the first few attempts, there is a problem with the gas supply.
Turn off the gas at the cylinder and regulator. DO NOT attempt to operate the cooker until the problem
is found and corrected. Refer to Troubleshooting on Pages 30 - 31.
WARNING
In bright sunlight the flame may appear invisible. DO NOT lean over the cooker during use.
DO NOT wear loose clothing or allow long hair to hang freely while lighting or using the cooker.
