TO START ENGINE

[2] If choke and throttle controls are sepa-

 

rate, move choke control to CHOKE.

[1] Check oil level (see p. 7).

Move throttle to FAST.

 

 

Choke/throttle control

[3] If choke and throttle are

on the same control,

move lever to CHOKE or

START.

[4]Insert key and turn to RUN.

WARNING

[5] Grasp

felt, then pull

 

rapidly

start engine

avoid

 

kickback.

[6] Let engine warm up.

smoothly

each change. Operate
