Using the
1 Once the child restraint is in a secure, seat belted position, locate the tether on the rear of the restraint.
2 Press and hold the tether adjuster release button, then pull to fully extend tether strap into a

4 Hook the tether to an anchor point.

6 Verify that there is tension in the tether strap and that child restraint is properly secured.

Using the Rear Facing Tether Connector Strap
IMPORTANT: Only use the tether connector strap (Fig. D) for rear facing tether installation.

structural part of the seat is too large for |

1 Find a fixed vehicle seat belt anchor or vehicle seat leg that is bolted to the floor that the strap can be wrapped around.
2 Loop the strap around the metal anchor (Fig. D).
