This printer is certifi ed as a Class I laser pr oduct under the U.S. Department
of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Radiation Performance St andard
according to the Radiation Control f or Health and Safety Act of 1968. This
means that the printer does not produce hazardous l aser radiation.
Since radiation emitted inside t he printer is complet ely confined within
protective housings and external covers, the laser beam cannot escape fr om
the machine during any phase of user operation.
