Difficulty Suggestions
No printout Check the inter face cable connec tion on both the mac hine and your com puter.
(See the Quick Setup Guide.)
Check that the machin e is plugged in and that the On/Off key is on.
One or more ink cartrid ges are empty. (See Replacing the ink
cartridgeson page 113.)
Check to see if the LCD is showing an error message. (See Error
messages on page 105.)
Check that the correct printer driver has been installed and c hosen.
Make sure the machine is o nline. Click Start and then Printersand Faxes.
Right-click and choose Brother MFC-XXXX (where XXXX is your model name),
and make sure that Use Printer Offline is unchecked.
