UTILITY STITCHES
Using the optional side cutter, seam allowances can be finished while the edge of the fabric is cut off. Five stitches can be used to sew overcasting stitches with the side cutter.

CAUTION
●Be sure to turn off the main power before replacing the presser foot. Otherwise, injuries may
occur if (Start/stop button) is accidentally pressed and the machine starts sewing.
Note
Thread the needle manually when using the side cutter, or only attach the side cutter after threading the needle using the needle threader.
a Remove the presser foot.

b Hook the connecting fork of the side cutter onto the needle clamp screw.

c Position the side cutter so that side cutter pin is aligned with the notch in the presser foot holder, and then slowly lower the presser foot lever.
