Using the Software on the Macintosh

Platform – Preparations

This chapter explains how to install the software. Read this before connecting the camera to the computer for the first time.

Installing the Software

Start by installing the software from the DIGITAL CAMERA Solution Disk.

Items to Prepare

•Your camera and computer

•DIGITAL CAMERA Solution Disk

•Interface cable supplied with the camera

Macintosh software can only be used on disks formatted in the OS Extended (journaled) format.

Installation Procedures

Place the DIGITAL AMERA Solution Disk in the

computer’s D-ROM drive.

Double-click the [ anon Digital Camera Installer] icon

 

in the CD-ROM window.

Click the Digital Camera Software [Install] button.
