Changing Resolution/Compression Settings

Shooting Mode

You can change the compression (excluding movies) and resolution settings to suit the purpose of the image you are about to shoot.

						• Print larger than Letter-size prints*

						216 x 279 mm (8.5 x 11 in.)

						x 297 mm (8.3 x 11.7 in.)
						• Print up to Letter-size prints*
						216 x 279 mm (8.5 x 11 in.)
		(Medium 1) 1600 x 1200 pixels				• Print postcard-size prints 148 x
						100 mm (6 x 4 in.)
		(Medium 2) 1024 x 768 pixels				• Print L-size prints 119 x 89 mm
						(4.7 x 3.5 in.)
		(Small) 640 x 480 pixels				• Send images as e-mail
					Low	attachments
						• Shoot more images
			(Postcard Date Imprint Mode)		• The resolution is set to		(1600 x 1200)
			1600 x 1200 pixels		and the compression to		(Fine).

**The resolution at the				(Large) setting is as follows:
