14cup plus 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

3tablespoons baking powder

112 teaspoons salt

6cups reduced-fat milk

6large eggs

112 cups finely chopped nuts, such as pecans, walnuts, almonds or hazelnuts

Cinnamon Pecan Waffles

6tablespoons packed light brown sugar

6cups all-purpose flour

3tablespoons baking powder

412 teaspoons ground cinnamon

112 teaspoons baking soda

112 teaspoons salt

512 cups reduced-fat milk

1cup plus 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

6large eggs, lightly beaten

3cups chopped pecans

Crumble the brown sugar to remove all lumps and place in a medium mixing bowl with the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt. Combine the milk, oil and eggs; stir until blended and smooth. Add to the dry ingredients and stir until smooth. Stir in the chopped pecans. Let batter rest 5 minutes before using.
