Removing a PC Card Module
1. Remove the interposer board from the CD/DVD drive.
2. Remove the power cable from the PC Card module's power connector.
3. Remove the PC Card module by pressing the green tabs on either side of the drive and lifting the module up.
4. Remove the PC Card module's flat data cable.
Installing a PC Card Module
1. Attach the PC Card module's flat data cable to the module's data connector.
2. If you are installing a new PC Card module instead of replacing one, remove the interposer board from the CD/DVD drive.
3. Gently slide the PC Card module into the computer until the green tabs securely click into position.
4. Attach the power cable to the PC Card module's power connector.
5. Attach the interposer board to the CD/DVD drive.
6. If you are installing a new PC Card module instead of replacing one:
a. Attach the flat data cable and the power cable to the card that came with the PC Card module.
b. Install the card into an empty card slot.
7. Check all cable connections, and fold cables out of the way to provide airflow for the fan and cooling vents.
8. Close the computer cover.
9. Attach the computer stand (optional).
10. Connect your computer and devices to electrical outlets, and turn them on.
NOTICE: To connect a network cable, first plug the cable into the network wall jack and then plug it into the computer.
