9. Close the system.

10. Reconnect the system to its electrical outlet and turn on the system, including any attached

peripherals.

Replacing the battery of a PERC FD33xD card

NOTE: The procedure for replacing the battery of a PERC FD33xS card is identical to replacing the

battery of a PERC FD33xD card.

1. Turn off the system, including any attached peripherals, and disconnect the system from the

electrical outlet and peripherals.

NOTE: It is recommended that you always use a static mat and static strap while working on

components in the interior of the system.

2. Open the system.

3. Locate the PERC card.

4. Remove the PERC card. For more information, see Removing the PERC FD33xD Card.

5. Disconnect the battery cables from the PERC card.
