My Camera Menu

You can select the theme, start-up image and sound, shutter sound, operation sound and self-timer sound used on this camera.

These are called the My Camera settings. You can also customize the

and options for each item with images recorded on the SD card and newly recorded sounds or by using the supplied software.

Theme

Selects a common theme for each My Camera settings item.

Functions

Start-up Image

Sets the image displayed when the camera power is turned on.

Start-up Sound

Sets the sound emitted when the camera power is turned on.

Operation Sound

Sets the sound emitted when any button p. 128 other than the shutter button is pressed.

Selftimer Sound

Sets the sound emitted 2 seconds before the shutter releases in self-timer mode.

Sets the sound emitted when the shutter

Shutter Soundbutton is pressed. There is no shutter sound for movies.

•How the [Mute] option in the (Set up) Menu and Sounds in the (My Camera) Menu Interact

To turn off each sound, such as the start-up sound, shutter sound,

operation sound and self-timer sound, [Mute] must first be set to [On] in

the (Set up) menu. When [Mute] is set to [On], each sound option will not sound even if they are set individually to [On]. The warning sound, however, will emit even when [Mute] is set to [On].
