4Press the number buttons to enter the four-digit
password. The Parental Controls menu opens.
5Press  or  to highlight Reset RRT, then press
ENTER. The RRT settings are reset to factory defaults.
6Press EXIT to close the menu.
Using closed captioning
Closed captioning availability and content depends on
the broadcaster and may vary across programs in a
channel.
Turning closed captioning on or off
To turn closed captioning on or off:
1Press MENU. The on-screen menu opens with the
Picture menu displayed.
2Press  or  to highlight Settings, then press . The
Settings menu opens.
3Press  or  to highlight Closed Caption, then
press ENTER. The Settings-Closed Caption menu
opens.
4Press  or  to highlight CC Mode, then press
ENTER.
5Press  or  to select On (turns closed captioning
on), CC On When M ute (turns closed captioning on
when the sound is muted), or Off (turns closed
captioning off).
6Press MENU to return to the previous menu, or press
EXIT to close the menu.
Selecting the analog closed captioning
mode
To select the closed captioning mode:
1Press MENU. The on-screen menu opens with the
Picture menu displayed.
2Press  or  to highlight Settings, then press . The
Settings menu opens.
3Press  or  to highlight Closed Caption, then
press ENTER. The Settings-Closed Caption menu
opens.
