2If your device needs more recharging after eight hours, unplug the charger from the outlet, then plug it back in. The circuit protection resets and provides power for another eight hours. If the charger’s circuit protection doesn't reset after eight hours, contact Dynex for technical service.

Warning: The charger won’t reset if you only unplug the 30-pin/USB cable from the charger. To reset the charging cycle, remove the AC adapter from the main socket, then re-insert.

The Smart Power Circuit Protection offers true Circuit Protection Security by automatically shutting off circuitry after eight hours of charging. This is to shield against unwanted charging after the device has been charged for more than eight hours. To reset and begin charging again, simply unplug the wall charger, plug it back in, and the eight- hour charging mode begins.

To charge your iPod or other USB 5V device:

1Plug the wall charger into a power outlet and connect to your device. The device will start charging and the LED will turn red. After eight hours, the circuit protection turns off power to prevent damage from overcharging and the LED turns off.
