0You can stop the fast freezing process manually at any time by pressing

the FAST CHILL/-FREEZE button again.

3 The FAST FREEZE function can only be switched on when the refrigera-

tor temperature regulator button is in the recessed position.

Switching the Appliance Off

In order to protect frozen goods, the appliance is guarded against acci-

dental switching off (child-proof).

3 Refrigerator and freezer compartments can be switched off independ-

ently of one another.

0To switch off press and hold the ON/OFF button for about 5 seconds. A

so-called "count down" is started in the temperature display, which

counts backwards from "5" to "0". When "0" is reached the appliance

switches off. Illumination at the temperature display goes off.

If the appliance is to be removed from service for a lengthy period:

0Switch appliance off by pressing and holding the ON/OFF button for

about 5 seconds.

0Remove the mains plug or switch off.

0Defrost freezer compartment and clean thoroughly (see section:

"Maintenance and Cleaning").

0Leave door open after defrosting to avoid accumulation of odours.
