Basic Scanning
Note:
A resolution of
240 to 360 dpi is an optimum range when scanning color images for printing on a color printer.
For example, if you’re scanning an image to go on a web site, a resolution of 72 dpi is usually sufficient since this is the resolution of most computer monitors, and anything more detailed generally won’t show on the screen.
However, an EPSON Stylus Color 600 printer can print up to 1440 dpi, so if you are scanning an image to be printed, you should scan the image at a higher resolution, such as 240 dpi.
