Options
The following optional items are available to expand the
versatility o f your scanner . For detailed information on the use of
these options, see Chapter 3 of this guide.
Auto Document Feeder (B81316])
Designed primarily for optical character recognition (OCR) scanning,
the Automatic Docume n t Feeder allows you to sca n up to 30 p ag es
automatically, and then use them in word processing programs, as
if you had typed the text yourself.
Transparency Unit (B81315])
Allows you to scan tr ansparent materi als, primarily 35 m m slides and
film strips. The reading area allows you to scan film up to 8 .5 ´ 11.7
inches (216 ´ 297 mm) in size.
