Placing a Document on the Scanner
Before scanning a document, remem b e r to respect the rights of
copyright owners. Do n ot s can pub lis hed t ext or imag es wi th out
first checking the copyright status.
1. Turn on the scanner by pressing the
P OPERATE button. The
OPERATE light comes on.
2. Turn on the computer and make s ure that the scanner's
READY light is on. Open the document cover.
