Replacing the TV Projection Lamp
The projection lamp in your TV is designed to last approximately 10,000 hours. Lamp life will vary depending on the mode selected, environmental conditions, and usage.
When it is time to replace the lamp, the TV displays a message on the screen.
The Lamp and Power lights on the front of the TV also indicate the status of the lamp.

Don’t replace the lamp unless you see a screen message or the Lamp and Power lights indicate lamp replacement, as described in the table below:

Caution
If your picture quality is not what it should be, try the other solutions described in “Picture Problems” on page 116 to correct it. If none of them work, you may need to replace the lamp. However, contact EPSON (see page 124) to see if lamp replacement would help before replacing the lamp unnecessarily.

| until the fan stops running, then unplug the TV, plug it back in, | |
|
| and press the Power button to turn on the TV. If the error | |
|
| persists, contact EPSON as described on page 124. | |
