Note:
❏After turning on the camera and taking a flash photo,
the flash icon blinks and the shooting light beside the
viewfinder blinks green until the flash is fully
recharged.
❏When you use the external flash, the internal flash is
disabled and the button does not work.
❏Slow synchro is only available in the Program or
Manual camera modes. To change the camera mode, see
“Making camera mode settings” on page 2-28.
❏You can select the leading or trailing slow synchro. To
select the slow synchro, see “Selecting slow synchro
timing” on page 2-32.
❏When using the quick shooting function, slow synchro
is disabled.
Adjusting the sensitivity settingWhen taking pictures with the viewfinder, you can
use the camera’s ISO button to change the sensitivity
setting. The arrow icons in the display panel next to
the ISO mark change accordingly.
Note:
You cannot change settings as described above when in the
Full Auto camera mode. To change the camera mode, see
“Making camera mode settings” on page 2-28.

Adjusting the white balance settingWhen taking pictures with the viewfinder, you can
use the camera’s W.B. button to change the white
balance setting. The setting appears in the di splay
panel next to the W.B. mark.
Note:
You cannot change settings as described above when in the
Full Auto camera mode. To change the camera mode, see
“Making camera mode settings” on page 2-28.
