VL Series

The monitor and keyboard move up and down in tandem for ease of use. An optional Slide-Out Keyboard Tray allows the user to pull out the keyboard to a more comfortable position. The system’s smooth steel construction is both durable and easy to clean. A quick-connect interface makes monitor attachment/removal easy.

Note: • Use of a VESA FDMI Standard compliant flat panel monitor is strongly recommended. We strongly urge you to contact to verify monitor compatibility prior to ordering. (See page 47 for details.)

•Monitors with cables that exit straight out the back of the monitor, as well as monitors that have non-removable bases/stands, may not be compatible with the VL Series. The VL Series works best with cables that exit in a downward or sideward direction.

•Choose a monitor with four-hole mounting pattern at or near top-to-bottom center-line (C/L).

VL Series Attachment

For VL Series to remain less than 4" (102 mm) from the wall when in storage position, follow these guidelines:

1.Monitor must not be more than 2-1/2" (63 mm) thick.

2.Keyboard should not be more than 7-1/4" (184 mm) deep.

3.Dimension “A” must be no greater than 8-3/4" (222 mm).

4.Slide-Out Keyboard option cannot be used as its depth = 4-1/2" (114 mm).

Exceptions:

If you want to install your keyboard in a forward position while remaining ≤ 4" (102 mm) from the wall, “A” ≤ 7" (178 mm). See Figure 1.

If you want to use a keyboard wrist rest, dimension “A” can be calculated by adding

3-1/2" (89 mm) to the keyboard depth “B” and subtracting this sum from 16-1/2" (419 mm). See Figure 2.
