Taking Pictures (AUTO Mode)
This section describes the basic operations.
1 Turn the camera on.
APress POWER down fully to turn the camera on.
BSet the Mode dial to q(FinePix A805 only).
CAUTION
Step B is only for FinePix A805. Since there is no mode dial on FinePix A610, ignore step B when using that model.
Holding the camera correctly
Brace your elbows against your sides and hold the camera with both hands.
Do not cover the lens or flash with your fingers.
CAUTION
•Moving the camera while shooting gives a blurred picture (camera shake). Hold the camera steadily with both hands.
•If the lens or flash is obscured by your fingers or the strap, subjects may be out of focus or the brightness (exposure) of your shot may be incorrect.
•Check that the lens is clean. If it is dirty (getting fingerprints on the lens etc.), clean the lens as informed on p.115.
