To use the viewfinder to take pictures:

1Turn the camera on. See “Turning on

your camera” on page 13.

2Turn the mode dial to a photography

mode.

3If the LCD is turned on, press the

button to turn off the LCD. Press the

button one or more times, until LCD

monitor Off appears.

4Compose your picture in the

viewfinder. If the image looks

blurry in the viewfinder, rotate the

diopter adjustment dial to focus

the viewfinder for your eyes. This

setting does not change the picture

focus.

5Focus the camera and take the

picture.
