Selecting the video output socket (EURO AV/RGB or S-Video)
The video output of your DVD player has been set at the factory to
»RGB«.
When you connect your DVD-Player to the television, flat screen or
projector using a Y/C cable (»S-VIDEO OUT« socket on the DVD
player) or using a cinch cable (»Y«, »Pb/Cb« and »Pr/Cr«
sockets on the DVD player), you will need to set the video output for
the video signal and the image to be relayed to the television.
Notes:
If you cannot see the settings menu, connect the »VIDEO
OUT« socket on the DVD player to the corresponding socket
(VIDEO IN) on the television using a cinch cable.
1Call up the main menu with »i«.
2Select the »Picture« menu item with »a« or »s« and activate
with »OK«.
3Select »Video output« with »S« or »A« and activate with
»OK«.
4Select the desired video output with »S« or »A« and con-
firm with »OK«.
– »S-Video« for the »S-VIDEO OUT« socket;
»YUV« for the »EURO AV TV« socket;
»RGB« for the »EURO AV TV« socket;
»YPbPr« for the »Y«, »Pb/Cb« and »Pr/Cr« sockets.
5Press »i« to conclude the setting.
Notes:
If the television has been connected to the »S-VIDEO OUT«
socket, no picture will appear. Keep pressing
»x«
until the
picture appears.
The video output is set to »S-Video«.
