5.6 Software Interface for Statistic Process Control (SPC)
The Flow Monitoring System offers you the possibility to get data for further process
control.
To get process data requires the connection of the flow monitoring system to a PLC or
PC and commands to start and end the data transmittal see Section 5.5.2.
The process data contains information about
number of dispensing cycle respectively number of reference dispensing
integral of pressure characteristic (corresponds to quantity of product dispensed),
length of envelope curve for pressure characteristic,
center of gravity,
– dispensing time,
– adjusted tolerance
adjusted product pressure as a digitized value and
kind of error.
They can be used for quality control and have to be evaluated by the customer.
Start Command
The start command is “D2”. The answer you get is “ok”. This means the transmittal can
start.
As long as you monitor the dispensing you get the process data. This function is
available till you quit. It is permanently stored till you send the end command.
End Command
To finish the transmission you have to quit using the command “D3”. The answer you
get is “ok”. This means the transmittal is finished.
