To exit date set mode but remain in SPECIAL EVENT REMINDER menu, press the MENU button.
Press EXIT to quit menu or CURSOR 
to return to previous menu.
NOTE: Special events set into memory will appear as blinking green dates in CALENDAR mode. At the selected time, the message will appear in CALENDAR mode.
When the TV is turned on, the SPECIAL EVENT REMINDER message will automatically appear at the selected time.
Each special event message can be a maximum of 20 characters long.
