Basic Techniques

Note: When you engage F.FWD button or REW/REVIEW button the picture will have some interference or noise. This is normal during search mode.

When the LCD monitor is open: (Clear Search)

You can view pictures with less noise on the LCD monitor during forward or reverse search.

Press F.FWD button during playback to play the tape forward at 6 times normal speed. Press PLAY button to return to normal playback.

Press REW/REVIEW button during playback to play the tape backwards at 4 times normal speed. Press PLAY button to return to normal playback.

Note: If you are using forward or reverse search with the LCD monitor closed, then you will not ba able to view pictures with less noise when you open the monitor.

Note: Several noise bars will appear on the TV screen during forward or reverse search.

Playing Back Your Recording on Your TV

Depending on the setup of your video equipment, you connect the camcorder in one of the 3 methods explained below.

Connecting to a Television with a VCR Attached

1.Connect the provided audio/video output cable to the AUDIO IN and VIDEO IN jacks of your VCR.
