Note: If the displayed time drifts from the current time even after steps 1 - 5 have been performed, reset the DST. Press the GUIDE and (3) buttons then press the (4) button to specify another option, then set the time again.

SETTING THE CLOCK -MANUALLY

To set the clock manually

1 Press the GUIDE button.

The main on-screen menu will appear on the TV screen.

You may view all the on-screen instructions in English, French, or Spanish. When you first set up your VCR, it will be set to English. Press the (8) button for French or the (9) button for Spanish.

2 Press the (3) button to bring up the "CLOCK SET" menu.

3 Press the (1) button to select "CLOCK SET <MANUAL>".

When "CLOCK SET <MANUAL>" is selected, "SET TIME ZONE" (item 3) and "SET DST" (item 4) are not displayed.

4 Press the (2) button to bring up the clock set menu.

• The white dash "-" appears for the item to be changed on the screen as you proceed.
