6. Precaution after use
CAUTION: Do not lay the disc sander down immediately after using on a place where there are many shavings, much dirt and dust until it has completely stopped revolving.
If the disc sander is laid down with the sanding disc turned downward before it has completely stopped revolving, there is a risk that the material may be damaged and the disc sander may run wild, resulting in injury.
SANDING DISC ASSEMBLY AND DISASSEMBLY
WARNING: Never attempt to assemble or disassemble the sanding disc while the disc sander is capable of being turned “ON”.
Be sure power switch is in the “OFF” position and the electrical cord has been disconnected from the receptacle.
1. Assembling (Fig. 4)
(1)Turn the disc sander upsidedown so that the spindle is facing upward.
(2)Attach washer nut, rubber pad and sanding disc on the spindle, in that order.
(3)While pushing the lock lever with one hand, lock the spindle by turning the rubber pad slowly with the other hand.
Tighten the washer nut by using the supplied wrench.
CAUTION:
Tighten the washer nut securely and confirm that the rubber pad and sanding disc does not wobble.
After releasing the lock lever, check to be sure that it has returned to its normal position.
