ENGINE
ENGINE WILL
NOT START I POSSIBLE CAUSE I CORRECTION
1. Check control
positions. Fuel valve OFF. Turn fuel valve ON fp. 221.
Throttle lever in wrong position. Move throttle lever to CHOKE
position, unless the engine is warm
(p. 22)
2. Check fuel. I Out of fuel. I Refuel fp. 18).
I Bad fuel; mower stored without Drain fuel tank and carburetor
treating or draining gasoline, or (p. 48). Refuel with fresh gasoline
refueled with bad gas. 1 &I. 18).
3. Remove and inspect Spark plug faulty, fouled, or Clean, gap, or replace spark plug
