SECTION VI

REPLACEABLE PARTS

6-1INTRODUCTION

6-2 This section contains information for ordering replacement parts. Table 6-4lists parts in alphanumeric order by reference designators and provides the following information:

a. Reference Designators. Refer to Table 6-1.

b. Description. Refer to Table 6-2for ab-

breviations.

c. Total Quantity (TQ). Given only the first

time the part number is listed except in instruments

containing many sub-modular assemblies, in which

case the TQ appears the first time the part number

is listed in each assembly.

d. Manufacturer’s Part Number or Type.

Description

Abbreviations

e. Manufacturer’s Federal Supply Code Num-

ber. Refer to Table 6-3for manufacturer’s name and

address.

f. Hewlett-Packard Part Number.

g. Recommended Spare Parts Quantity (RS) for complete maintenance of one instrument during one year of isolated service.

h. Parts not identified by a reference designator are listed at the end of Table 6-4under Mechanical and/or Miscellaneous. The former consists of parts belonging to and grouped by individual as- semblies; the latter consists of all parts not immediately associated with an assembly.
