Usage: write <memoryterminal>

Description: View or save the

running configuration of the switch.

write terminal -

displays the running configuration of the

write memory -

switch on the terminal

saves the running configuration of the

 

switch to flash. The

saved configuration

 

becomes the boot-up

configuration of the switch

 

the next time it is

booted.

Example: write memory

Make a configuration change (in this example, create a static IP route) and save the change to the configuration file in flash memory:
