If you "forget" the message, it is saved in $HOME/Canceled.mail.
File Mode with Redirection
To send a ®le by use of
$ elm j_doe < help.c
which reads ®le help.c and sends it with the default subject.
File Mode with a Pipe
To mail the output of a command and include a subject line:
$ ls
WARNINGS
Using two separate mail programs to access the same mail ®le simultaneously (usually inadvertently from two separate windows) can cause unpredictable results.
