Checking the Battery Pack
1.Carefully place the computer
2.Remove the battery pack and measure the voltage between the battery terminals+) and −31). (See
the following figure.

ŸIf the voltage is+10less.0 Vthandc, the battery
pack has been discharged or is defective.
ŸIf the voltage is +10more.0 Vthandc, go to the next step.
3.Using an ohm meter, measure the resistance between battery terminalsT ) and2 −3).( (The
resistance must be 4 to 30 kilohms.
ŸIf the resistance is not correct, replace the battery pack.
