(10) Setting of Depth Shift Setting the depth shift allows you to specify a depth at which the upper edge
of the screen image stands.
To set the depth shift, proceed as follows.
qPress the [RANGE] key.
“RANGE” (“SHIFT” or “AUTO”) will be indicated in the depth field on the screen.
wSelect “Shift” using the [LEFT] or [RIGHT] key.
eSelect the desired depth shift using the [UP] or [DOWN]key.
Each time you press the [UP] or [DOWN]key, the depth shift changes in incre-
ments of one step.
rPress the [RANGE] or [SET] key to save the setting.
Auto operation is suitable for beginners to use the fishfinder.
Detection of the sea bottom needs subtle adjustment of the depth range according
to the shape of the sea bottom.
The use of the auto operation function of the system, however, permits the bottom
image to be always displayed on the screen.
To use auto operation, proceed as follows.
qPress the [RANGE] key.
“RANGE” (“SHIFT” or “AUTO”) will be indicated in the depth field on the screen.
wSelect “AUTO” using the [LEFT] or [RIGHT] key.
ePress the [RANGE] or [SET] key to save the setting.
