TROUBLE SHOOTING

SChecktightness of (14) diaphragm screw.
Airbubbles in product discharge.
SCheckconnections of suction plumbing.
SCheckgaskets between intake manifold and inlet side fluid caps.
SChecktightness of (14) diaphragm screw.
Motorblows air or stalls.
SCheck(176) check valve for damage or wear.
SCheckfor restrictions in valve / exhaust.
Lowoutput volume, erratic flow, or no flow.
SCheckair supply.
SCheckfor plugged outlet hose.
SCheckfor kinked (restrictive) outlet material hose.
SCheckfor kinked (restrictive) or collapsed inlet material hose.
SCheckfor pump cavitation - suction pipe should be sized at least as
largeas the inlet thread diameter of the pump for proper flow if high
viscosityfluids are being pumped. Suction hose must be a non-col-
lapsingtype, capable of pulling a high vacuum.
SCheck all joints on the inlet manifolds and suction connections.
Thesemust be air tight.
SInspectthe pump for solid objects logged in the diaphragm chamber
orthe seat area.
