Setting the clock

To set the clock:

1Press STOP/BAND/TIME SET. The HOUR digits begin flashing.

2Press SKIP/TUNING UP or SKIP/TUNING DOWN to set the hour.

3Press STOP/BAND/TIME SET. The HOUR digits stop flashing and MIN digits start flashing.

4Press SKIP/TUNING UP or SKIP/TUNING DOWN to set the minutes, then press STOP/BAND/TIME SET to confirm the time setting and go back to standby mode. The display now shows real time.

Using your boombox

Playing the radio

To play the radio:

1Press (Standby/on) to turn on the boombox.

2Press STOP/BAND/TIME SET to select the radio band you want to listen to (AM or FM). In FM mode, press PLAY MODE/MONO/ ST. to select FM MONO or FM STEREO.

3Press SKIP/TUNE UP or SKIP/TUNE DOWN to tune the radio up or down and select the station you want. When a strong FM signal is received, Stereo appears on the display.

4Adjust the volume to a comfortable level by pressing either the VOLUME UP or VOLUME DOWN button.

5To scan to a higher or lower frequency, press and hold SKIP/ TUNE UP or SKIP/TUNE DOWN for one second. The radio automatically scans to the next station.

6Press (Standby/on) to turn off the boombox.

To improve reception:

•For FM reception, raise and extended the FM antenna. You may have to reposition the antenna for best reception.

•For AM reception, turn your boombox slightly until reception improves.

•Move the AC power adapter 3 feet away from your boombox to reduce interference to radio reception.
