To use microphone only

1Turn MIC LEVEL to MIN.

2Connect the microphone(s) (not supplied) to the MIC 1 and/or MIC 2 jack.

3Select disc player, then stop playback.

4Activate the Mic mixing mode.

5Adjust the MIC LEVEL and VOLUME.

Singing Along (Karaoke)

You can enjoy singing along (Karaoke) and microphone mixing by using two microphones.

The Karaoke mode—the vocal cancel mode reduces the lead vocal of any disc (except for DVD Audio) source.

1Turn MIC LEVEL to MIN.

2Connect the microphone(s) (not supplied) to the MIC 1 and/or MIC 2 jack.

3Select a disc player.

4Activate the Mic mixing mode.

5Activate the Karaoke mode.

To cancel from the Mic mixing mode, select “MIC OFF” in

step 4.

To apply an echo to your voice

During Mic mixing mode is activated...

• As the number increases, echo level also increases.

6Adjust the MIC LEVEL and VOLUME.

To cancel from the Karaoke mode, select “OFF” in step 5

or change the source to play.

While playing back a disc...
