PTY Standby Reception

 

 

 

 

 

PTY Standby Reception allows the unit to

 

switch temporarily to your favorite PTY

 

programme from any source other than AM.

 

• Operations are exactly the same as explained

 

on page 14 for FM RDS stations.

 

• PTY Standby Reception for DAB tuner works

 

only using a dynamic PTY code.

 

• You can activate and deactivate PTY Standby

 

Reception when the source is either “FM” or

 

“DAB.”

Tracing the same programme—Alternative Reception

You can keep listening to the same programme by activating the Alternative Reception.

•While receiving a DAB service:

When driving in an area where a DAB service cannot be received, this receiver automatically tunes in to another ensemble or FM RDS station, broadcasting the same programme.

•While receiving an FM RDS station:

When driving in an area where a DAB service is broadcasting the same programme as the FM RDS station is broadcasting, this receiver automatically tunes in to the DAB service.

When shipped from the factory, Alternative Reception is activated.
