FEC
Select the applicable error rate (Viterbi rate). You need not state the error rate for the DVB S(SD) transponders. Instead a fixed display of “Automatic” appears. You must state the correct error rate for the DVB S2(HD) transponders. Either QPSK 1/2, 2/3, 3/4, 3/5, 4/5, 5/6, 8/9, 9/10 or 8PSK 2/3, 3/4, 3/5, 5/6, 8/9 or 9/10.
Polarization
Select the correct polarization (horizontal or vertical).
Symbol Rate
Use the numeric keypad to enter the related symbol rate.
Tuner Configuration
Since the tuner configuration is very detailed, we have dedicated it a chapter all to itself. For this see the chapter “Tuner Configuration”.
Edit Satellites
After calling up the menu you will see the following display:
The individual items are selected using the buttons. If you require to access submenus, they can be
called up using the button. Changes to the current
settings can be made using the buttons or the numeric keypad.
The settings of the satellites should be performed by a specialist engineer for the respective reception system. Only make these settings yourself if you are fully familiar with the particulars of your reception system.
Satellite Name
Select here the satellite that you want to edit/delete, or whose name you want to change. By pressing
the button at this point you can view a list of the
satellites saved in the receiver. Use the buttons to select the satellite you want and confirm your selection
with the button.
