GENERAL SAFETY RULES – FOR ALL ELECTRIC POWER TOOLS
READ AND UNDERSTAND ALL INSTRUCTIONS.Failure to
follow all instructions listed below may result in electric shock, fire and/or
serious personal injury.
1. KEEP GUARDS IN PLACE AND IN WORKING ORDER.
2. REMOVE ADJUSTING KEYS AND WRENCHES. Form a habit of checking to see
that keys and adjusting wrenches are removed from the tool before turning it
on.
3. KEEP WORK AREA CLEAN. Cluttered areas and benches invite accidents.
4. DO NOT USE TOOL IN A DANGEROUS ENVIRONMENT. Do not use power
tools in damp or wet locations, or expose them to rain. Keep work area well lit.
5. KEEP CHILDREN AWAY.All visitors should be kept a safe distance from the
work area.
6. MAKE YOUR WORKSHOP CHILD PROOF, with padlocks, master switches, or
by removing starter keys.
7. DO NOT FORCE TOOL. The correct tool will do the job better and safer at the
rate for which it is designed.
8. USE THE CORRECT TOOL FOR YOUR APPLICATION. Do not force tool or
attachment to do a job for which it was not designed.
9. ALWAYS USE SAFETY GLASSES.Also use a face mask or dusk mask if cutting
operation is dusty. Everyday eyeglasses only have impact lenses, they are NOT
safety glasses.
10.SECURE WORK. Use clamps or other practical ways to secure and support the
workpiece to a stable platform. Holding the work by hand or against your body
is unstable and may lead to loss of control.
11.DO NOT OVERREACH. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. Proper
footing and balance enables better control of the power tool in unexpected sit-
uations.
12.MAINTAIN TOOLS WITH CARE. Keep tools sharp and clean for best and safest
performance. Follow instructions for lubricating and changing accessories.
13.NEVER LEAVE TOOL RUNNING UNATTENDED. TURN POWER OFF. Don’t leave
tool until it comes to a complete stop.
14.DISCONNECT TOOLS before servicing and when changing accessories, such
as blades, bits, cutters and the like.

People with electronic devices, such as pacemakers, should consult their
physician(s) before using this product. Operation of electrical equipment in
close proximity to a heart pacemaker could cause interference or failure of
the pacemaker.
WARNING:Some dust created by power sanding, sawing, grinding, drilling and
other construction activities contains chemicals known to the State of California
to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm.
Some examples of these chemicals are:
• Lead from lead-based paints.
• Crystalline silica from bricks and cement and other masonry products,
and arsenic and chromium from chemically-treated lumber.
Your risk from these exposures varies, depending on how often you do this type
of work. To reduce your exposure to these chemicals: work in a well ventilated
area, and work with approved safety equipment, such as dust masks that are
specially designed to filter out microscopic particles.
WARNING: Handling the power cord on corded products may expose you to
lead, a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth
defects or other reproductive harm.
