Searching a disc by the disc title

By inputting the initial letter of the desired disc title, discs which have the disc titles beginning with that character can be searched in sequence.

1Activate the disc search mode.

1Press the MODE key.

2Input the initial letter of the disc title to be searched.

÷When the MODE key is pressed during DISC SEARCH mode, the DISC SEARCH mode is cancelled.

Each press switches the modes as follows:

1 MUSIC TYPE

2DISC SEARCH

3 TITLE INPUT

4 ALL DATA READ

5 ALL INFORMATION

When initial letter “A” is selected.

÷If a desired character is not provided on the remote control keys, input the character as follows. Press the CHARACTER DOWN/UP key (4,¢) repeatedly to select the character, and press the SET key.

÷The characters also can be selected with the DISC SKIP knob on the main unit. Turn the knob to select the character, and press the SET key.

÷The disc titles beginning the specified character will be scrolled in the display.

÷If there is no disc title beginning with the specified character, “NO ENTRY” will be displayed.

 

To quit DISC SEARCH mode

 

Press the MODE key.
