When the player is off, press the button shortly to switch it on. ^

When the player is on, press and hold the button for more than 2 seconds to switch it off. ^

When the player is off, press the button to open the [MENU] view. ¡

Pressing the button when the display backlight is dimmed or extinguished turns the backlight on.

Press the multi-control (Up/Down) button deeply makes it possible to scroll the display or increase the fast for- ward/fast reverse speed.

!Triangle LED

The LED blinks at about 5-second intervals while the display is extinguished. It blinks twice when the HOLD switch is set to HOLD.

Slide the switch in the direction of HOLD so that the player will not change the current operating condition even when a button is pressed by mis- take, for example when the player is carried in power off status or used in a train.
