1. Load a disc.
1Press the ) key to open the CD tray.
2Place a disc.
3Press the ) key to close the CD tray.
2. Start playback.

This section describes you how to play CD-DA and the audio of VIDEO CD from the first track and MP3 file
of the order in which it was written.

When a disc is placed into the CD player in advance, the unit will be switched on automatically by pressing
the CD 6 key, and playback will start.

Do not touch the played side of disc.

Be sure to place a disc horizontally. Placing it
with an inclination will result in malfunction.

This unit may not be able to playback certain
CD-R and CD-RW discs depending on the
recording equipment or discs. See "Notes
on playback of CD-R and CD-RW".

For a VIDEO CD with PBC, check that the "PBC" indicator is not lit.
If the "PBC" indicator is lit, select "PBC OFF" as follows:
1Keep the 7 key depressed for more than 2 seconds.
2Press the AUTO PBC key so that the "PBC" indicator goes off.
3Press the CD 6 key to start playback.
For a disc other than VIDEO CDs with PBC, "PBC OFF" is automatically selected.
