Editing the MD titles
Assigning a title to a disc or track
When titles are assigned to a disc and its tracks, the titles will be displayed during play- back.
If the program play mode is activated, cancel it before proceeding.

1Load a prerecorded MD and se- lect the MD input by pressing MD 6key.
2Press the MD EDIT key and press 4 or ¢ key to select “TITLE
INPUT”, then press the SET key.
3Press the 4or ¢key repeat- edly until “DISC” or the track number to be titled (“001”, etc.) is displayed.

4Press the SET key.
5Press the DISPLAY/CHARAC. key repeatedly to select the desired
character group.
Uppercase alphabet group: ABCD...
Lowercase alphabet group: abcd...
Numeral and symbol group: 0123...

6Press the 4or ¢key repeat- edly until the desired character is displayed.

7Press the SET key to enter the se- lected character in memory.
Compose the desired title by repeating steps 5 to 7 for each character.
Pressing the CLEAR/DELETE key clears the character located immediately before the cursor.
8After composing the title, press
the ENTER key.
The input title is displayed by scrolling. To assign other track titles, repeat steps
3to 8 for each.
